- Pre-boarding: A week before joining, line mangers would contact new joiners to welcome and prepare them for their first day at work. This personal touch helps alleviate any pre-starting anxieties, enables opportunities for clarifications, and creates a sense of belonging before the employee even steps into the office.
- First day experience: Apart from being warmly greeted at the lobby and accompanied to their designated floor and desk, new joiners will also receive a personally handwritten welcome card from their line manager and team, along with their assigned bank devices and access passes. A buddy is also assigned to guide them through their initial days, introducing them to the office and ensuring that they settle in smoothly. This demonstrates the bank's commitment to a personalized and caring onboarding experience.
- Induction and beyond: The journey continues with a dedicated and interactive one-week orientation program, designed to immerse new hires into the values, business, and culture. It also includes a quarterly coffee session with the Singapore CEO, where new employees have the opportunity to share candid feedback and ask questions in an open, informal setting.
